Born in India, Pam studied music at Cambridge University, and completed her keyboard studies with Sulamita Aronovsky at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. She has performed and recorded with a diverse range of musicians including Julian Lloyd Webber and his wife, Jiaxin Lloyd Webber, Lesley Garrett, Michael Ball, Catrin Finch, Rebecca Bottone, Adrian Sherwood (On-U Sound System), Skip MacDonald (Little Axe), Squid (Asian Dub Foundation), Steve Sidelnyk (Madonna), DJ Smadj, Pete Lockett, Doug Wimbish (Living Colour), Youth (Killing Joke), Steafan Hannigan, Tony K & Asian fusion group Shiva Nova. Live performances include the Sud Ouest Festival in Portugal, Festival Vinha D’Areia in the Azores, the Holders Festival, Barbados, the South Bank Show, the Andrew Marr show, the Classical Brit Awards and Classic Response at the Royal Albert Hall.
Pam has performed extensively with Julian Lloyd Webber, notably in the Hennessy Concert Series in Hanoi Opera House, the Cemal Resit Rey Hall in Istanbul, and the Al-Bustan Festival in Beirut.
Prior to this, Pam was involved in arranging popular classics for string quartet (Boosey & Hawkes), folk tunes for cello / piano for Phillips Classics, and further works performed by the Nash Ensemble, the BBC Concert Orchestra and the RPO. Commissions include works for the microtonal Fluid Piano, which she performed at its launch in the Purcell Room, Southbank Centre in March 2010.
Pam also performs and writes with Tracie Law for gothic melodic hard rock band Symphony of Pain. They have recently released 2 new albums, Hydeology and Virology.
Recording projects include the electro-acoustic duo, Amici Prism with multi-percussionist, Pete Lockett, plus re-mixes with Pete on the MELT2000 label and tracks with the Sanscapes ‘Bushmen of the Kalahari’ project, with whom she also performed live.
Pam combines her musical career with arts management at Southbank Centre, London, where she is Head of Planning in the Artistic Programming Department.
